Scope
Junction specializes in providing street food to their clients. Our design mandate was to design a space which specialises in both dine in & takeaways. We had to design the space with a systematic approach of counter space for placing order, space for collecting the takeaway. The dine in area had to be designed in a way to accommodate enough seating space.
Interior Design Concept
- Wooden accents for furniture & counter space.
- Open kitchen to view all the food prep
- Modern & Classic interior space
- Bright space graphics to bring out the vibrancy of the space.
- Overall, powerful visual graphics were used.
Visual Branding Elements
- The logo is inspired by the betel leaf which is prominently consumed post meals in India
- Virant space graphic which highlights greetings from all over India
- Overall space includes branding of Junction
Elements of Design
- A rich shade of red and green is used to accent the overall light-toned interior design.
- The natural light of the space highlights the space beautifully
- Ambient lighting plays a part when there is no sufficient lighting
- Use of metalic seating and tables.
The look & feel of the space is vibrant with lots of street food motifs inspired by Indian street vendors and incorporated into the space graphics of the overall space. We have used patterned laminate for the counter space along with a glass top display for food. The design for Junction is thoroughly designed to keep both visual language and identity in mind.
