Refurbishing hotel spaces for Forever

Scope

The design brief for this hotel refurbishing project was clear – strictly adhere to the “Forever Young Initiative” guidelines chalked out by the Hilton brand to give its guests a calm, comfortable yet classy experience.

Interior Design Concept

The Forever Young guidelines were precise. They specified all the interior design elements in consideration – colours, patterns, contrasts and textures.

Right from the entry, the colour palette and material textures communicate the renewal of this space and its vibrancy. A revitalised exterior especially the Porte Cohere leads to the lobby, the social hub of the hotel. Being the biggest common space, the lobby design had to be spot on. It is designed to be approachable and comfortable at the same time.

Clean lines, bright and fresh looks and seamless convenience make the rooms warm and inviting living spaces. In this refurbished version, the hotel also has a large meeting room which is up to 46 sq. metres and can be utilised for medium scale meetings and conferences. The breakfast area is connected with the lounge and it creates a seamless flow of access to the dining place with the lounge and then the rooms.

Elements of Design

  • Earthy elements are used all over the hotel area to create calmness and an upscale look & feel.
  • Bold colours in the interior space are used to contrast the otherwise earthy palette that’s used throughout the hotel.
  •  Yellow tinges and unique wooden motifs and patterns add a fresh element to the interior design of the rooms.
  • Lots of reds and maroons in the common spaces bring out the vibrant and posh side of the hotel.

Design TWG worked on this refurbishing project from start to end to successfully redesign a hotel of a well-known brand like the Hilton that was up to the standards set by the Forever Young Initiative.
