Scope: Kennedy Convention Center is located in the heart of Scarborough, on the busy Kennedy Road. The area has vibrant & diverse demographics and KCC was designed keeping in mind the needs of such a population. The challenge was to seamlessly connect the entire complex of banquet halls, lobbies & services locatedbelow the street level and bring them all up to the street level.

Elements of Design:

• The entrances were crafted so that the transition was smooth, spacious & well-coordinated, befitting a grand event space.
• Overall lighter tones with dark accents were used with diffused atmosphere lighting to counter the lack of natural light.
• The ceiling was designed to be intricate , yet elegant, creating a vast envelope under which all the big and small events could flourish.
