SCOPE:

Started as a street vendor in the 70’s in Western India, Honest Restaurant is a well-known Indian Street food franchise, immensely popular with the Indian diaspora worldwide. TWG was mandated to help with carrying the brand into the Canadian market with unique yet recognizable features of the brand.

ELEMENTS OF DESIGN:

  • The large space is covered by subtle colored flooring and has open ceiling with exposed services
  • The playfulness is created by pops of color, in furniture, décor and ceiling elements, reminiscent of the lively urban Indian streets.
  • 6 floors were divided into executive and premium categories and 2 different room schemes were implemented in the hotel.

FEATURES:

  • Colours are brought about by the potted plants that line the neutral coloreded walls
  • The hexagonal geometric ceiling elements bring a lively contrast to the large undivided space
  • Wood look featured wall sports the word “honest” in several languages speaking to the universal popularity of the brand
